Chief Technical Officer

Anne Reeler is a social scientist (PhD. In Medical Anthropology) with extensive experience in the design and implementation of health programs and public-private partnerships. She worked for more than 15 years in the United Nations before co-founding Axios International with her colleagues. Dr. Reeler’s World Health Organization experience includes the Action Program on Essential Drugs, Human Re-Production, Tropical Disease research and Health Systems research. Dr. Reeler also worked for UNAIDS on Care and Social Support for HIV-Positive people.

Dr. Reeler spent time working in Thailand for the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok. Whilst in Thailand she conducted her own field research in the North-East of the country on people’s treatment strategies in different socio-economic settings, later published in a book called “Money or Friendship: Modes of Empowerment in Thai Health Care”. She is the author of numerous articles in scientific journals.

Dr. Reeler is now the Chief Technical Officer of Axios International, responsible for innovation and quality control. She is Danish and lives in Paris.
