Dr Reeler a medical anthropologist, has more than twenty years of field experience in the design and implementation of health system programs and the underlying private-public partnerships. Dr Reeler joined WHO in 1986, where she designed research for the Action Program on Essential Drugs. In 1989 Dr Reeler was appointed program officer at the United Nations Economic and Social Council for Asia and Pacific in Bangkok. Dr Reeler also worked for other departments in WHO including Health Systems Research, Human Reproduction Tropical Diseases. This was followed by her work at UNAIDS in Geneva on the subject of care and social support for HIV-infected people and a study on compliance issues in HIV treatment.
